Iris and I were both members of the same B'nai B'rith organization, DBB. We played one the DBB basketball team together for 4 years. One day, Iris and her mother were driving past my house while I was waiting for the bus to Georgia State. They gave me a ride, and during the drive it transpired that Iris was scheduled to see the head of the Biology Dept. at Ga. State in regard to majoring in Medical Technology; fortuitously I decided to tag along. And that is how I became a Medical Technologist for 10 years following graduation, although Iris decided that she wasn't interested.
