I have a very fond memory about J. P. which goes all the way back to the 7th grade at Inman. Since kindergarten I was the tallest person in each of my classes. Then, J. P. had a growth spurt when we were in the 7th grade, and finally someone else was taller than I was. He was a fine person, and I know that Paula misses him.

J.P. and I shared a dorm room at Young Harris College.....the guy always had a smile and never knew a stranger
When he went into the Marines and not back to YHC for his second year the place never was the same.
Missed him then, and miss him now.
