Message from Frances's daughter, 4 February 2024:

HI, this is Fran's daughter. Sadly she passed away in June of 2022. I was trying to remember the names of her friends. I recall one named Mary Lou. I have old photos of her as a teen and recall seeing her Grady High yearbooks. I could not find where to put that someone has passed away on here?

My son and I might leave California as it is too expensive etc. I have researched Georgia as both my parents were from there and South Carolina and NC and some of VA. 
Is all of VA full of military? I don't particularly want to be in a totally military town. 

My mom had dementia at the end! As I look back on it I think she had it way before she was diagnosed and wish I'd known! She was acting very strange and our relationship almost ended. At the end she was acting like a spunky teenager and we got along much better. She thought a stuffed animal dog was a real dog and even on her death bed she told me "Keep him. You need him more than I do." And I sleep with the puppy dog every night.
